Overview
Dzüleke is a small Angami village about 15 km west of Khonoma, along the same ridge system that hosts the Khonoma Nature Conservation & Tragopan Sanctuary. It has developed a small conservation-focused tourism model with community homestays.[1],[2]
Trout streams cross the valley below the village, and the surrounding forests are contiguous with the Khonoma sanctuary landscape.[2]
History
Dzüleke is an Angami satellite settlement of Khonoma; it is younger than the mother village and appears in modern district gazetteers.[3],[4]
